New Delhi, Aug. 24 -- Tata Power Renewable Energy Limited (TPREL) has commissioned a 190.5 megawatt (MW) solar firm and dispatchable renewable energy project in Rajasthan, which includes a 115 megawatt-hour (MWh) battery energy storage system, the company said on Monday.

The project, located at Kalasar in Bikaner, Rajasthan, has been developed under SJVN's Firm and Dispatchable Renewable Energy (FDRE) Tranche-1 and forms part of a larger 460 MW contracted FDRE project, according to a press release filed by Tata Power with the stock exchanges.

The 190.5 MW project will supply electricity to Haryana Power Purchase Centre (HPPC), Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL) and Noida Power Company Limited (NPCL), the...
