Tamil Nadu CM Vijay's UK tour yields Rs 15,300 crore in investments, over 10,000 jobs
Chennai, Sept. 17 -- Tamil Nadu Chief Minister C Joseph Vijay's visit to England has been a successful trip aimed at elevating Tamil Nadu as a global investment hub, the state government said today.
In an official press release, the government said the Chief Minister travelled to England on September 10 to attract more investments, as part of its vision to make Tamil Nadu a 1.5 trillion-dollar economy by 2036.
The government said that through the VETTRI Tamil Nadu Investors Conclave 2026, 97 MoUs worth Rs 67,452 crore with 1,06,998 jobs were signed, and in the first 100 days of the government, over Rs 1 lakh crore in investments have been attracted.
