Chennai, May 23 -- Marumalarchi Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (MDMK) General Secretary Vaiko on Saturday condemned the abduction and murder of a 10-year-old girl in Coimbatore, and demanded strict action in case from the state government.

A 10-year-old girl, who had been missing since Thursday evening, was found dead in Tamil Nadu's Coimbatore on Friday. The police have arrested two accused in the case. The accused were remanded to judicial custody.

In a statement, Vaiko demanded a law prescribing life imprisonment in such cases.
