Suzlon targets 5 GW renewable capacity in Andhra Pradesh by 2030; Set to generate 4,000 jobs
Amaravati, Aug. 24 -- Renewable energy solutions provider Suzlon Group targets establishing 5 GW of additional renewable energy capacity in Andhra Pradesh by 2030, a move expected to generate approximately 4,000 direct and indirect jobs in the region.
According to a press release, the company plans to develop 1,325 MW of new wind projects in the Rayadurg constituency of Anantapur district in partnership with clean energy players such as Tata Power and Waaree Energy, representing an estimated investment of Rs 10,000 crore in the state's wind energy sector.
