New Delhi, Aug. 17 -- BJP National Spokesperson Sudhanshu Trivedi on Sunday hit out at the Congress over the ongoing political debate surrounding Prime Minister Narendra Modi's 'Dimagi Naxal' remark, questioning the party's position on Naxalism and citing former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh's earlier assessment of the threat.

Trivedi said that Prime Minister Modi had raised an important issue in his Independence Day address and expressed surprise over remarks attributed to Congress leader P Chidambaram within 24 hours of the speech.
