London, Aug. 25 -- England have called up inexperienced pacer Sonny Baker to their squad for the second ICC World Test Championship clash against Pakistan, with Brydon Carse omitted from the 16-man group.

Carse has been left out while the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) investigates an incident from the weekend. Baker, meanwhile, could earn his second Test cap after making his debut against New Zealand at The Oval in June, as per the ICC website.
