Bengaluru, Aug. 24 -- Bengaluru FC on Monday announced that midfielder Soham Varshneya has signed a contract extension with the club, committing his future to the Blues until 2029.

22-year-old Varshneya, who featured eight times for the club during the 2025-26 Indian Super League and provided one assist, joined the club's Reserve Team for the 2024-25 campaign that finished fourth in the BDFA Super Division campaign and reached the Zonal Round of the Reliance Foundation Development League (RFDL) that year, according to a press release from Bengaluru FC.
