Shiv Kapur backs team-based Golf as pathway to India's future Olympic, Asian Games medal prospects hopes
New Delhi, Sept. 9 -- Former Indian golfer and Asian Games gold medallist Shiv Kapur believes the growing popularity of team-based golf in India, especially the Indian Golf Premier League (IGPL), can help create a stronger pathway for young golfers to represent the country and compete for medals at major multi-sport events such as the Asian Games and Olympics.
On Wednesday, Delhi Blue Bulls GC unveiled the franchise's official playing jersey in New Delhi, marking the team's formal step into its IGPL season 2 campaign.
