Shimla, June 30 -- Governor Kavinder Gupta on Tuesday inaugurated an Artificial Limb Distribution Camp at Lok Bhavan organised by the non-governmental organisation "ACT Humane" in collaboration with the Himachal Pradesh State Red Cross Society.

On the occasion, around 15 beneficiaries from different districts of the State were provided with artificial limbs, enabling them to regain mobility and lead more independent lives.

The beneficiaries, belonging to different age groups, had travelled from Una, Kangra, Rohru, Shimla and Sirmaur districts to receive the assistive devices.
