Amritsar, Aug. 22 -- Leading his hometown team will make the Sher-e-Punjab T20 League a particularly special assignment for Indian T20I opener Abhishek Sharma, who is relishing the opportunity to captain Amritsar Soormas and help shape the next generation of Punjab cricketers.

For Abhishek, whose cricketing journey began in Amritsar, wearing the Soormas crest carries a strong emotional significance.
