Jammu, July 2 -- The second batch of Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra departed from the Bhagwati Nagar Yatri Niwas base camp in Jammu on Friday amid tight security arrangements for the convoy.

A full security cover has been deployed to ensure the safe movement of pilgrims. Under tight security, a fresh batch of pilgrims for the Shri Amarnathji Yatra 2026 departed from the Jammu base camp on Friday morning.

The Yatri Niwas of the Shri Amarnath Shrine Board at Chanderkote in Ramban district has been illuminated with tricolour lights, adding to the festive atmosphere of the ongoing Yatra.
