SC restrains CBI, ED from filing report before Allahabad HC on Rahul Gandhi's plea in disproportionate of assets case
New Delhi, Aug. 17 -- The Supreme Court on Monday restrained the CBI, ED or any other investigating agency from submitting any report before the Allahabad High Court in a case concerning allegations of disproportionate assets against the Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi.
A bench of Chief Justice of India Surya Kant, Justices Joymalya Bagchi and V Mohana also asked the Allahabad High Court to defer its August 20 hearing in the case till the apex court hears the matter next.
The bench further issued notice to Shishir on the plea of Gandhi against the High Court order.
