Washington DC, Feb. 28 -- Open AI on Friday (local time) announced that it had reached an agreement with the US Department of War to deploy some of its models in their classified network.
Open AI CEO Sam Altman posted the announcement on X claiming that the agreement has clauses that enforce prohibition on mass surveillance. The issue of surveillance was the breaking point that forced the US Department of War to cancel its agreement with Open AI's bitter rival Anthropic.
