New Delhi, Sept. 11 -- Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov arrived in New Delhi on Friday to attend the 18th BRICS Summit.

First Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Denis Manturov has also arrived in the capital for the summit.

Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin had also arrived in New Delhi ahead of the 18th BRICS Summit. Upon his arrival, Putin was welcomed by Union Minister of State (MoS) for External Affairs Kirti Vardhan Singh.
