Moscow, Nov. 5 -- Russian President Vladimir Putin has assured Iran that Moscow is ready to make every possible effort to bring the ongoing war against Tehran to an end, while condemning the bombing of Iranian nuclear facilities, Iran's security chief Major General Mohsen Rezaei said.

Speaking about his meeting with Putin at the Kremlin, Rezaei said the Russian President had expressed his willingness to help end the conflict and criticised the attacks on Iran's nuclear infrastructure.

"Mr. Putin said he will do everything he can to help bring the war to an end," Rezaei said, according to Press TV.

He further said Putin had condemned the bombing of Iran's nuclear facilities and described the war against the Islamic Republic as unjust. ...
