New Delhi, July 30 -- Dr Ram Manohar Lohia (RML) Hospital has clarified that claims based on the Medico-Legal Case (MLC) of a 32-year-old woman brought to the hospital on July 20 are misleading, stating that the MLC records the patient's alleged history and should not be treated as the final clinical diagnosis.

In a statement here on Wednesday, the hospital said the woman was brought to RML Hospital on July 20, 2026, and the MLC documented the alleged history as narrated by the patient at the time of presentation, which mentioned an ear injury.

However, the hospital said that upon clinical examination, doctors found a lacerated wound on the patient's ear.
