New Delhi, July 19 -- The Patient Summary Report shared with activist Sonam Wangchuk's wife Gitanjali Angmo yesterday clearly mentioned the patient's potassium levels, sources said on Sunday and noted that the multidisciplinary team of medical experts has been consistently counselling both the patient and the family to facilitate timely medical intervention and adherence to the recommended treatment protocol.

Activist Sonam Wangchuk was brought to the Safdarjang Hospital yesterday by Delhi Police from Jantar Mantar, where he was on a hunger strike in support of students' protest against "paper leaks".

Gitanjali Angmo said earlier in a post on X that she had "lost faith" in Safdarjung Hospital.
