Dausa, Aug. 25 -- A spell of rain has once again begun in Dausa district, starting Monday night. Heavy rainfall continued across Dausa city and surrounding areas from Tuesday morning onwards.

Continuous rainfall led to waterlogging on service lanes along the highway, while several residential colonies and major roads also witnessed water accumulation.

The rain also exposed the inadequacies of the Municipal Council's drainage system. Drains overflowed, and water began flowing onto the roads in many places. Residents faced difficulties due to waterlogging in local colonies.

Meanwhile, the city's Adarsh vegetable market was also flooded; vegetables were seen floating in the water, causing traders to worry about potential losses.
