New Delhi, Aug. 4 -- Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi on Tuesday announced that he will visit Prayagraj on August 8 to lead the next leg of his 'Chhatron Ki Goonj' initiative, stepping up his attack on the Central government over unemployment and alleged irregularities in recruitment examinations.

Gandhi said the programme in Prayagraj would focus on highlighting the concerns of students and "exposing the reality of the job crisis" in the country.

Taking to X, the Congress leader announced that the event would be held at 5 PM and alleged that young people are no longer willing to accept "empty promises" and "hate-filled propaganda."
