New Delhi, July 7 -- Congress MP from Wayanad, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, on Tuesday condoled the deaths of two persons in the landslide in her constituency, and urged the United Democratic Front (UDF) workers and functionaries to provide support to people affected.

Keralam Health Minister K Muraleedharan confirmed the death of two persons in the incident. Directions have been given in the hospital in Wayanad for the treatment of labourers injured at the Wayanad tunnel construction site due to the landslide.

In an X post, Priyanka Gandhi said that the rescue efforts are underway and Chief Minister VD Satheesan is monitoring the relief measures.
