Dharmashala, Oct. 7 -- President Droupadi Murmu on Wednesday visited Atal Tunnel, a highway single-tube tunnel located at an altitude of over 10,000 feet above sea level, on the second day of her three-day visit to Himachal Pradesh.

Governor Kavinder Gupta and Lady Governor Bindu Gupta accompanied the President during the visit.

Technical Education Minister and Minister-in-Waiting Rajesh Dharmani, BJP MP Kangana Ranaut, Lahaul-Spiti MLA Anuradha Rana, Deputy Commissioner Kiran Badana, senior district administration officials and Army personnel were also present to receive the President. Dharmani presented a memento to the President on the occasion.
