New Delhi, April 5 -- To mark the 132nd foundation day, Punjab National Bank organised a second edition of the half-marathon 2026 at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in New Delhi on Sunday.

The event, themed 'PNB Soldierathon 2026, Run For Soldiers,' was held in association with the Indian Armed Forces to mark the bank's 132nd Foundation Day and pay tribute to the heroes of Operation Sindoor.

Speaking on the occasion, Mizoram Governor Gen. V.K. Singh (Retd) noted that more than 27,000 people had gathered for the event. He emphasised that the Soldierathon was held under the Fit India Campaign to raise public awareness about the importance of staying fit and taking physical well-being seriously.
