Kolkata, May 9 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi, along with West Bengal Leader of Opposition Suvendu Adhikari, paid tribute to Nobel laureate Rabindranath Tagore on his 165th birth anniversary at Kolkata's iconic Brigade Parade Ground, where the swearing-in ceremony of the BJP government in West Bengal is scheduled to take place.
Earlier today, the Prime Minister arrived at Kolkata's iconic Brigade Parade Ground was also seen waving at the public upon his arrival at the venue.
Suvendu Adhikari, who was elected as the leader of the BJP Legislative Party in West Bengal, is set to take oath as the state's first BJP Chief Minister today.
