PM Modi inaugurates redeveloped Harrawala Railway Station; CM Dhami says project reflects Centre's commitment to Uttarakhand's rail infrastructure
Dehradun, July 17 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday inaugurated 75 redeveloped railway stations across the country under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme.
As part of the initiative, the redeveloped Harrawala Railway Station in Dehradun was dedicated to the nation. Uttarakhand Governor Lt Gen Gurmit Singh (Retd) and Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami were present on the occasion.
According to a press release, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami thanked PM Modi and Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw on behalf of the people of Uttarakhand, describing the redevelopment of Harrawala Railway Station as a matter of pride for the state.
