New Delhi, March 18 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday attended the Central Election Committee (CEC) meeting of the Bharatiya Janata Party at the BJP headquarters in the national capital.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, BJP president Nitin Nabin, along with several other party leaders, were present at the meeting.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is likely to address three election rallies across Assam on April 1, 3 and 6, ahead of the upcoming state polls, as per sources.
Other than PM Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah is also expected to attend several election events and hold multiple rallies in six regions of the country, sources said.
