New Delhi, April 29 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday expressed deep grief over the loss of lives in the recent road accident in Dhar, Madhya Pradesh.

In a statement on X, the Prime Minister said he was "deeply pained" by the tragedy and extended condolences to the bereaved families.

"Deeply pained to hear about the loss of lives in an accident in Dhar, Madhya Pradesh. I extend my heartfelt condolences to those who have lost their loved ones in this mishap. Prayers for the speedy recovery of the injured," the Prime Minister said.
