New Delhi, April 2 -- India and Russia discussed strengthening ties across areas such as trade, energy and industrial cooperation during the meeting between PM Modi and Russia's Deputy PM Denis Manturov on Thursday, as per the Russian Embassy in India.

Sharing the details of the meeting in a post on X, the Russian Embassy said that the leaders also discussed steps to implement agreements reached during the 23rd bilateral summit, which took place in New Delhi last year between PM Modi and President Putin.
