New Delhi, March 19 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke with the Crown Prince of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Mubarak Al-Sabah on Wednesday and discussed the evolving situation in West Asia and regional stability, MEA Spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said at an inter-ministerial briefing here.

"Yesterday, our Prime Minister spoke with the Crown Prince of Kuwait. The two leaders exchanged views on the evolving situation in West Asia and shared their concerns over recent developments," he said.

"Prime Minister reiterated India's condemnation of attacks on Kuwait's sovereignty and territorial integrity. He also underlined ensuring safe and free navigation through the Strait of Hormuz as a priority for us," he added.
