Amaravati, Sept. 3 -- The Jana Sena Party on Thursday said a major drinking water project aimed at addressing chronic kidney disease-related concerns in A Konduru mandal of NTR district has been completed under the leadership of Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan.

According to a statement issued by the party, the Jal Jeevan Mission-Amarajeevi Jaladhara project has been completed at a cost of Rs 49.94 crore and is expected to provide safe drinking water to nearly 75,000 people across 38 habitations in the mandal.

The party said A Konduru has emerged as a region facing chronic kidney disease-related concerns similar to those reported from the Uddanam region in Andhra Pradesh. The mandal comprises 21 gram panchayats and 38 habitations, inc...
