New Delhi, July 21 -- Delhi's Patiala House Court granted 30 days' interim bail to Sagar Sharma in view of the demise of his father. He is an accused in the Parliament security breach case of December 2023. Additional Sessions Judge (ASJ) Amit Bansal granted interim bail to Sagar Sharma after considering the application and submissions led by the counsel for accsued.

"In view of the above said submissions, interest of justice and without commenting upon the merits of the case, the applicant/accused Sagar Sharma is admitted to interim bail for 30 days from the date of his release on furnishing a personal bond in the sum of Rs.50,000 with one sound surety of the like amount," ASJ Bansal ordered on July 17.
