Pakistan: Four killed, one injured in two bridge collapse incidents in Sindh
Karachi, May 15 -- Four people were killed while one was injured in two bridge collapse incidents in Sindh province of Pakistan on Friday (local time), as per ARY News.
In the first incident, a section of an under-construction Ghotki-Kandhkot Bridge collapsed after a heavy portion of the bridge gave way and fell, ARY News said, quoting local sources.
The incident raised concern among the locals, drawing attention to the quality of the construction material and the possible corruption angle involved in the project.
Meanwhile, in another incident, four labourers were killed while one was left injured in Sindh's Karampur when a section of the dilapidated old bridge over Naseer canal collapsed, as per ARY News.
