Dhaka, July 12 -- Due to the flood and heavy rain, more than a million people in Bangladesh have been affected by waterlogging.

Due to the continuous rainfall over the past week, about 45 people have died in various ways from landslides and other flood-related issues in Bangladesh.

The capital of Bangladesh, Dhaka, along with Chittagong city, the hill regions, and the coastal district of Cox's Bazar, have been severely flooded. Roads and rail connections to Cox's Bazar have been disrupted, and many schools and educational institutions have been affected. In Dhaka, all schools have been closed since last night due to the heavy rainfall.
