Opposition meeting chaired by Mallikarjun Kharge gets underway, to draft letter to CEC
New Delhi, Oct. 7 -- Congress National President Mallikarjun Kharge is chairing a meeting of MPs from opposition parties at a restaurant in Central Delhi. The objective of the meeting is to draft a letter which will be sent to the CEC demanding an urgent meeting with opposition leaders on the SIR issues.
Key Opposition MPs who assembled in the national capital today for a meeting called by Rajya Sabha Leader of Opposition and Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge confirmed that the high-profile session will discuss the next course of action in the ongoing protests against Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar.
