New Delhi, Oct. 2 -- Odisha Governor Hari Babu Kambhampati met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi on Thursday and discussed issues related to the development of the state.

During the meeting, Kambhampati apprised the Prime Minister of the implementation and progress of various Central government schemes in Odisha, according to an official statement.

The Governor also briefed the Prime Minister about the Indian Green Building Council (IGBC) Platinum certification recently conferred on Odisha Lok Bhavan.

The discussions covered matters concerning Odisha's development and the implementation of key Central government schemes in the state.
