Dubai, Sept. 12 -- Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi concluded his three-day UAE investment outreach, pitching Odisha as a leading destination for global investment, manufacturing and technology.

As per the official release, the outreach generated proposed investments worth Rs 2.42 lakh crore, with an employment potential of 6.18 lakh.

The outreach across Abu Dhabi and Dubai resulted in eight MoUs and 16 Investment Intents, following 26 one-to-one meetings and six round-table discussions involving around 160 participants. The concluding Odisha Investors' Meet in Dubai brought together around 400 business leaders and investors.
