New Delhi, April 1 -- Union Minister for Petroleum and Natural Gas Hardeep Singh Puri on Wednesday congratulated Numaligarh Refinery Limited (NRL) for achieving a record performance in the financial year 2025-26, calling it a landmark year for the refinery.

In a social media post, the minister highlighted that NRL processed 3,113 TMT (Thousand Metric Tonnes) of crude in FY 2025-26, operating at 103 per cent capacity utilisation.

This marks the refinery's highest-ever throughput and the second consecutive year in which it has run beyond its rated capacity of 3 MMTPA.
