Anantnag, Aug. 22 -- The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Saturday conducted searches at two locations in Anantnag district of Jammu and Kashmir as part of an ongoing investigation in a case, officials said.

The searches were carried out in Bijbehara and Dooru areas of south Kashmir, with NIA teams accompanied by personnel from the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) and Jammu and Kashmir Police.

According to officials, an NIA team conducted a search at the SICOP area in Bijbehara, while another team carried out a search at Kreeri village in the Dooru area.

Further details regarding the nature of the case, the purpose of the searches and any recoveries made during the operation are awaited.
