New Delhi, Sept. 8 -- India has delivered 95 tonnes of emergency relief materials on board seven aircraft to support Nepal during its ongoing flash flood catastrophe, the Ministry of External Affairs announced on Tuesday, expressing deep solidarity and sympathy with the people and government of the neighbouring country.

Speaking during a weekly press briefing, MEA Spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal affirmed that India, as a close neighbour, responded promptly and will continue to back long-term relief, rescue, and reconstruction efforts.
