Patan, March 16 -- Janta Dal (United) National Working President Sanjay Kumar Jha expressed happiness over the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) sweeping the Rajya Sabha polls, while saying that Nitish Kumar will mostly stay in Patna, except when the House is in session, to "guide the government as needed".

Addressing the press conference, Sanjay Kumar said on Monday, "It was clear from the beginning that the NDA would win by a large margin. Our leader, our Chief Minister, Nitish Kumar, is now going to the Rajya Sabha. I congratulate all five NDA members on the victory, and especially Nitish Kumar, who is going to the Rajya Sabha."
