New Delhi, Sept. 15 -- The National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR) has once again summoned the Managing Director and Head of Meta India in connection with its inquiry into Child Sexual Exploitation and Abuse Material (CSEAM) ads, with the hearing scheduled for September 16, government sources said.

As per government sources, the NCPCR had issued a notice to Meta on July 3 seeking an explanation from the company in the matter. Meta submitted its response a week later.

Following the response, the NCPCR decided to institute a formal inquiry to determine the facts of the case.

As part of the ongoing inquiry, the Commission has once again summoned the MD and Head of Meta India for the hearing scheduled on Wednesday.
