New Delhi, Aug. 19 -- The National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) has reconstituted a 20-member panel tasked with developing new Political Science textbooks and teaching-learning material for Classes 11 and 12, as part of the ongoing revision of school textbooks under the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.

The latest move comes as NCERT continues to roll out revised textbooks aligned with the National Curriculum Framework for School Education (NCF-SE) 2023. The council has already developed new textbooks for Grades 1 to 8, while revised books for higher classes are being introduced in phases.
