Hyderabad, June 6 -- YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) leader and former Andhra Pradesh Finance Minister Buggana Rajendranath on Saturday questioned the Andhra Pradesh government's claim of double-digit economic growth, alleging that official financial data did not support such assertions and accusing the ruling Telugu Desam Party (TDP) government of neglecting farmers and relying on "false propaganda".

In an interview with ANI, Rajendranath termed the government's claim of around 11 per cent economic growth "surprising" and said growth in the economy should ordinarily be accompanied by an increase in state revenues.
