Mumbai-Ahmedabad bullet train project installs five heavy portal beams over Ahmedabad tracks in 22 days
New Delhi, May 4 -- The Mumbai-Ahmedabad bullet train project has completed the installation of five heavy portal beams over active Indian Railways tracks at Maninagar in Ahmedabad within 22 days, marking a key engineering milestone.
According to an official release, all five precast-prestressed portal beams were launched over the Ahmedabad-Vadodara railway line in a phased manner on 8th, 13th, 19th, 24th and 29th April 2026, in close coordination with Indian Railways.
