Multi-institutional team led by IIT Guwahati develops framework to strengthen informal transport, address congestion
Guwahati, July 21 -- Researchers from the Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati, IIM Kashipur, and the National University of Singapore have developed a framework that can integrate private transportation services such as autorickshaws, minibuses, and vans into mainstream urban transport.
The developed framework focuses on regulating these private transportation systems while addressing existing problems such as road congestion and environmental pollution, according to a release.
