New Delhi, March 31 -- The medical tourism industry has witnessed a slowdown in growth due to the ongoing West Asia conflict, which has triggered a price rise in plastic raw materials. Consequently, while supply chain costs are increasing, the impact on the price of new MRI machines is expected to be minimal.
According to Dr. Harsh Mahajan, Mentor at FICCI Health Sector and Founder and Chairman of Mahajan Imaging and Labs, while MRI scan costs for patients are not expected to increase, the prices of new machines will likely witness a marginal hike.
