Bhopal, Aug. 18 -- Madhya Pradesh Cabinet, held under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Mohan Yadav, on Tuesday sanctioned over Rs 1.46 lakh crore for the continued implementation of welfare schemes and initiatives covering women's empowerment, healthcare, agriculture, science and technology in the state.

The council of ministers also gave a nod to the formation of the 'Nirmal Evam Aviral Maa Narmada (NAMAN) Mission' for the conservation, rejuvenation and long-term sustainable management of the Narmada River.

Among the key decisions, the Cabinet approved Rs 1,14,365 crore for the continued implementation of the Mukhyamantri Ladli Behna Yojana from 2026-27 to 2030-31. Around 1.27 crore women are currently benefiting from the scheme. Sim...
