Neemuch, April 2 -- A 11-year-old girl was allegedly molested in Madhya Pradesh's Neemuch district on Thursday, a police officer said.

The incident which occured on Wednesday night under the jurisdiction of the Manasa police station limits in the district came to light on Thursday morning.

As the information spread, people gathered in large numbers, raising demands for strict action against the accused.

"We received information this morning that an incident of molestation with a minor girl occurred last night. Acting on the information, the police force was sent to the spot.
