Indore, July 3 -- Former Congress State General Secretary Rakesh Singh Yadav on Friday resigned from the party and launched a sharp attack on state party president Jitu Patwari, alleging that he did not deserve the post and had weakened the party.

Announcing his resignation at a press conference in the city here, Yadav labelled serious allegations against state Congress president Patwari. He also alleged that organisational posts in the state Congress were being allotted in exchange for money.
