Bhopal, July 6 -- Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav on Monday laid the foundation stone of the Satgarhi Smart Industrial Park and Convention Centre in Bhopal on the occasion of the 125th birth anniversary of Dr Syama Prasad Mookerjee.

Mookerjee founded the Bharatiya Jana Sangh on October 21, 1951, the ideological predecessor of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

CM Yadav also announced that the industrial park would be named after Dr Mookerjee, India's first Industry Minister, stressing that the project would generate over 15,000 jobs and mark a major step towards developing a new industrial corridor around the state capital.
