New Delhi, July 22 -- BJP MP Bansuri Swaraj on Wednesday defended the Centre's handling of the ongoing protests over the NEET issue, asserting that the government had acted with "sensitivity" towards students while accusing the protesters of spreading "false narratives."

Addressing a press conference in Delhi, Swaraj said the Centre had engaged with the protesters and invited their representatives for discussions with Union Minister JP Nadda.
